I will keep this pretty simple cause honestly I don’t have much to say about this dish…

It is simple to recreate, simple ingredients and oh so delicious 🤤🤤 that brown sugar adds that je ne sais quoi to it. I used my all purpose seasoning but you guys can use a different all purpose seasoning, or even a creole seasoning would be good too. Or you can use this combination of spices including my favorite smoked paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and some thyme. You season your fish until your ancestors tell you to stop.

In the video I mention the reason for your salmon having that white stuff come up on it when it cooks is due to excess water in it before cooking it. I am happy to report that I did not have the white stuff come up after I thoroughly patted my salmon dry (see picture above).

I served this salmon with the last recipe I posted Spageti ak Djon Djon and this was absolutely delicious, like delicious delicious!!

Ingredients

Adjust Servings
0.77 lbs wild salmon, cleaned and descaled
1 ½ teaspoon Li Bon All purpose seasoning
1 ½ teaspoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon sea salt
⅛ cup olive oil
2 tablespoons butter

Directions

1.

Using a paper towel, pat fish dry.
Mark as complete

Mix all purpose seasoning, brown sugar, sea salt together and sprinkle generously all over salmon.
Mark as complete
3.

Add oil and butter to a hot skillet, then place salmon skin side down and cook for 4 minutes on each side. Serve with Djon djon linguine or rice or mashed potatoes.
