It’s the holiday season and I finally finally have a Turkey recipe for you guys! Not just a recipe but a video to go along with it Whoot whoot. This is a pretty simple recipe so you don’t have to feel intimidated about making it.

A few things… try to find an (about 11 pound) turkey that isn’t in a brine already, so you can season your bird to your preference. You will want to defrost your bird about a day and a half in the fridge before you clean and season it. You can make the compound butter a day ahead. After cleaning your bird, try your best to remove the excess water, use paper towels to dry her to the best of your ability.

Taste your compound butter to make sure it has enough salt for your preference, the amount I put in the recipe was just right for me. I chose to stuff my bird with aromatics (thyme, rosemary, garlic, onions etc.) but you can add a prepared stuffing into her if you prefer. Try my recipe here where I use a box mix, my family loves this stuffing and I hope you do too. When paired with this turkey they’re sure to be a hit at your holiday gathering.

Instead of american style gravy I decided to just make a sauce with the drippings from the roasting pan and baby, let me tell you… delicious!!! This is how I typically make sauce after cooking any kind of meat.
