Hey, my Loves ❤️… wait, if this is your first time here, welcome to my blog Love For Haitian Food; that’s how I greet my followers. This blog started with me cooking Haitian cuisine but, now I do all kinds of food cause I love food in general. Ok, introduction out the way… Today happens to be a Haitian recipe, and it’s a good one!! I want you guys to meet Sòs Pwa Frans, she’s a beauty, and I love her!! She’s made out of Green split peas boiled with scallion and garlic and blended smoothly into a purée… Check out the ingredients here:

I remember my mom making this purée and also making poul nan Sòs and then adding them together. We would enjoy this over white rice and it is definitely one of my favorites 😋😋. I will do a video for how I make that in the near future so stay tuned for that!!

This was served with Pwason Gwo Sèl (stewed fish), Diri Blan (white rice), and a side of Salade Russe (Haitian style potato salad) and it was soooo good. Keep in mind that this is a meal typically served for Good Friday so keep it in your memory bank and make this next year; your family will love it!!
