Ingredients for chicken: | |
2 ½ lbs chicken wings, cleaned and dried | |
1 ½ teaspoon sea salt | |
4 teaspoons Li Bon All Purpose Seasoning | |
1 ½ tablespoon baking powder | |
Ingredients for bbq glaze | |
½ cup bbq sauce | |
⅓ cup of honey | |
½ tablespoon rum (optional) |
Directions
1.
Preheat oven at 400℉ degrees

Mix salt, dry spices (all purpose seasoning) and baking powder together, combine well.

Add spice mix over chicken, toss chicken to coat it evenly. Place chicken on a rack over a sheet tray lined with aluminum foil and bake in the middle rack for 20 minutes.

Mix glaze ingredients together and set aside.

Turn chicken over and bake for another 20 minutes.

6.
Turn over again, then turn the oven off and turn the broiler on, bake for 10 minutes. Turn it over one last time and bake for another 10 minutes.

Place chicken in a bowl, pour the glaze over it and toss it to coat it evenly. Serve with ranch dip, carrots and celery sticks.

Notes
Make sure you pat the chicken as dry as you can
If you don’t have my Li Bon seasoning you can substitute it with: 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon garlic powder and ½ teaspoon onion powder
